Chris Smith - Architect. B Arch (Hons)
Chris is a retired Heritage Architect. He worked in the field of Heritage Conservation for more than thirty years in government agencies including Parks Victoria and Parks Canada. As project architect Chris has been involved in the conservation of many significant historic sites in Victoria including Anderson's Mill at Smeaton, Days Mill and Farm Murchison, Eldorado Dredge, Alpine huts, historic mining sites, Noojee Trestle Bridge, Walhalla Post Office, Woodlands Homestead and the Creswick Nursery Office. He was Chairman of the Walhalla Post and Telegraph Office Committee of Management 1991 - 98.
Chris also contributed to the Jewish Museum of Australia’s Leon Haskin Schmatte Business Walk speaking on the architecture of buildings in Flinders Lane, Melbourne.
